Transparent funding
FutureSciences is free to read and may receive advertising, sponsorship or affiliate revenue. Any paid placement must be identified close to the relevant content with a clear label such as Advertisement or Sponsored. Where a link may generate a commission, disclose that relationship before or next to the link. A general footer notice alone is insufficient.
Editorial independence
Sponsors do not purchase scientific validation, citations, favorable findings or Laboratory admission. Distinguish advertiser claims from editorial analysis and disclose relevant author relationships. Commercial claims must be supportable. We may reject or remove misleading promotions, particularly health claims directed at vulnerable readers.
Privacy and adolescents
The current site does not enable behavioral advertising, audience analytics or advertising identifiers. Any future advertising integration requires a privacy and vendor review before activation. We prefer contextual placements that do not follow readers between sites. We prohibit behavioral targeting of known adolescent accounts and do not infer sensitive traits for advertising. A contribution license does not authorize using a contributor’s name, portrait or work as an advertiser endorsement.
Report a problem
Send an undisclosed promotion, misleading claim or privacy concern through Private requests with its location. Sponsors must provide rights documentation for creative assets and accept our disclosure and removal requirements. See Privacy Notice and Data Processing Policy and Cookies and Tracking.
